Spring Give

Posted May 1, 2021

Today, CHSA remains committed to standing in solidarity with our AAPI brothers and sisters and to build on our founders’ vision for a more just and diverse society. CHSA is taking action! As the newly hired Executive Director, I, Justin Hoover, am excited to bring new energy to the table. Now we need your financial support to continue to grow.

We are launching new programs including online talks, new exciting exhibitions and new member’s only opportunities to connect with artists, historians, and celebrities. Keep an eye out for We Are Bruce Lee: Under the Sky, One Family, set to open this winter. This exhibition features rare items on loan from the world’s top Bruce Lee collectors, as well as artworks by local artists inspired by the master himself. In a new light, this exhibition focuses on Lee as a thinker and a racial unifier as much as on Lee as a Hollywood icon and a martial artist.

Please consider a donation of $1,000 or more today, but a gift of any amount helps. A gift to CHSA today will support a vibrant community of artists, writers, scholars, and producers who are fighting for democracy, community and inclusion. Your donation will keep us moving forward on our path toward community, education, justice and equality. Gifts to CHSA are fully tax deductible and are essential to assuring that we continue to address the challenges of the times. Help us reach our goal of $100,000 before June 30th.  Become a  member, make a donation online, and purchase a custom-made limited edition Stop AAPI Hate poster by the talented 16 year old artist Jessica Wong.
