Join CHSA’s new book club meeting! We will discuss various books and readings related to Chinese American history and San Francisco’s Chinatown. You can either find these books at your local library or purchase at CHSA’s bookstore. No reservations are required, just pay-as-you-wish! All book club meetings are held on Wednesday at CHSA.

A select group of articles from CHSA’s Chinese America: History and Perspectives journal, this month’s book club honors the Chinese Americans contributions in World War II
March 18 & April 15: The Woman Warrior by Maxine Hong Kingston
Celebrate Women’s History Month and the upcoming release of Mulan by discussing the significance and relevance of The Woman Warrior
May 20 & June 17: The White Devil’s Daughters by Julia Flynn Siler
There will be no book club meetings in July and August
September 16 & October 21: Three Coins by Russell Low
