Called to Rise: Chinese Americans in WWII—Symposium

Join CHSA on November 2nd for “Called to Rise: Chinese Americans in World War II,” a two-day symposium that explores Chinese Americans involvement in World War II. Historians and veterans will discuss topics of service before 1941, during WWII, the homefront, and the legacies of service.
On November 3rd, the Chinese American Citizens Alliance and Cathay Club join CHSA in the rededication of the WWI and WWII War Memorial at St. Mary’s Square. Lunch will be included in the program where participants will get a sneak peek of Monty’s Hom remastered film We Served With Pride. The day ends at CHSA for a viewing of the exhibit Called to Rise: Chinese Americans in World War II.
