Celebrating the Walls at Folger Stables

A special event featuring the newly restored Folger Stable and the Chinese Walls of Woodside
- Visit the recently renovated Folger Estate Stable, a precious historical treasure.
- See the stone walls and roadways built by Chinese laborers in the 19th Century marked by a commemorative plaque from the Chinese Historical Society of America.
- Learn about horses and pioneer history in the Carriage Room Museum
- Docent led tour
- Luncheon and Program featuring a talk by CHSA Historian Connie Young Yu and musical performance by singer/songwriter/historian Charlie Chin
The Walls are an enduring monument to 19th Century Chinese labor in America, form a beautiful background to the historic Folger Stable. Your generous participation in this event provides CHSA critical support for its efforts to honor and share Chinese contributions to the building of the West, a legacy that belongs to us all.
Suggested Donation: $20 general, $10 students, free for children 12 and under accompanied by an adult
