Featuring the Creative Spaces artists Leon Sun, Leland Wong, Amy Lam and Pam Wong, and We Grew Up in San Francisco Chinatown
Friday, May 31, 2013
The CHSA Museum brings Asian Pacific American Heritage Month to a raucous close, with a celebration highlighting the artists of CHSA’s Creative Spaces 2013 exhibition program and We Grew Up in San Francisco Chinatown.
The evening opens at 5pm with a Creative Spaces artist reception. Leon Sun, Amy Lam and Pam Wong will be on hand to share their works currently on display in the gallery.
Then at 7pm, the dinner and karaoke party begins with We Grew Up In San Francisco Chinatown, the Facebook group formed by artist Leland Wong that celebrates San Francisco Chinatown. Leland himself will prepare a special dinner in the spirit of the Pork Chop House Restaurant and Chinatown comfort foods. We’ll have a DJ spinning music and karaoke all night long. Tickets for dinner are limited so RSVP today!
