CHSA is proud to be a sponsor of the Israel China Cultural Festival. The Israel China Cultural Festival celebrates the historic and new interactions between the peoples and cultures of Israel and China. For more information about the festival, visit IsraelChinaSF.com.
As part of the Israel China Cultural Festival, the CHSA Museum will host the exhibition “On the Wings of the Phoenix: Dr. Feng Shan Ho and the Rescue of Austrian Jews” from June 7 – July 2, 2012. This exhibition tells the story of Dr. Feng Shan Ho, a Chinese diplomat who saved thousands of Jews in Vienna from being deported to Nazi concentration camps during World War II. This marks the premier of this exhibition in San Francisco.
Join CHSA and the Consulate of Israel in San Francisco for a free opening reception at the museum on June 7, 6-8pm. Featuring music by Francis Wong and Ben Goldberg, and a special presentation by exhibition curator Manli Ho. RSVP here.
