Stir-Frying In the Year of the Snake with cookbook author Grace Young

To celebrate the Year of the Snake, Grace Young, acclaimed Chinese American food writer will give a presentation of her cookbook, “Stir-Frying to the Sky’s Edge” winner of the James Beard Best International Cookbook Award. Grace’s latest book celebrates and demystifies the art of wok cooking with simple recipes from across the world. Included are fascinating oral histories from home cooks on traditional Chinese stir-fries and all the essentials you need to honor the traditions of wok cookery. Grace will also share Chinese New Year culinary customs and superstitions.

Grace Young has been called the Stir-Fry Guru and Wok Advisor by The New York Times and is the award-winning author of The Wisdom of the Chinese Kitchen and The Breath of a Wok. Her cookbook Stir-Frying to the Sky’s Edge was named one of the top cookbooks of the year by NPR, The Washington Post, and Good Morning America.
