Brown Bag Film Screening—Making Tracks: The Philip P. Choy Story

On Thursday May 23 & 30 at 12pm, we will screen Making Tracks: The Philip P. Choy Story. This short film chronicles Phil Choy’s efforts to commemorate the work of Chinese railroad workers of the first transcontinental railroad. Barre Fong produced and directed the film in conjunction with the Chinese Historical Society of America. Bring your lunch to the museum and enjoy the film!

Chinatown: SF Guzheng Music Society Concert

The San Francisco Guzheng Music Society will be holding their 37th Annual Concert at the Chinese Historical Society of America. “The Chinese American Immigration Story - Series 3:  Chinatown" is a collaborative event, featuring musical performances within the museum’s main exhibition, Chinese American: Exclusion/Inclusion, and a 45-minute performance in the CHSA’s Learning Center.
