You can book general admission tickets online. Admission dates can be selected in advance.

Tickets may also be purchased at the admissions front desk on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Are there student discounts?

Yes, CHSA offers a discount on the admission price for students. Admission with a student discount costs $10 per visitor.

Don’t forget to bring your (international) student card with you when you visit the museum, as you will be asked to present it at the entrance.

Are there discounts for senior citizens, groups or teachers?

Yes, CHSA offers discounts for senior citizens and military veterans.

I did not receive my ticket, but the money has been debited from my account. What can I do?

There can be several reasons for this:

The email with your tickets might have been moved to your spam or junk mail folder. If you use Gmail, messages like this are often placed in a special folder for advertisements or spam.

There might be a typing error, e.g., in your email address. Please contact us via email info@chsa.org or phone 415-391-1188, ext.109. We will then correct the mistake and resend the tickets.

There may be a delay due to server problems. Check your email again later.

Can I reschedule my visit time?

Up to 24 hours before the date and time of your scheduled visit, we will be pleased to help you find an alternative time to visit.

Do I have to print the tickets?

You can print out your tickets, but you do not have to. You can also present the QR code assigned to your ticket purchase on a mobile device in order to check in at the museum entrance.
