Owner Chef Kris Toliao will create a specially tailored menu just for your party! Have the place all to yourselves for a wonderful culinary experience. Before opening Cassava with his wife, Yuka, in March 2012, Kris was at one Michelin Star awarded Luce Wine Restaurant at InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco. He has also trained/worked at a Kaiseki restaurant called Kikunoi in Tokyo (2 Michelin Stars), Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, and others over the past 10 years. Private Dinner for 4. Restrictions: Beverage and gratuity not included in the value. Any additional guest can be accommodated for $125/person plus tax and gratuity. The party size can be no larger than 10 guests. Dining guests are welcome to bring their own wine or beer at no charge.  Gift Certificate does not expire.

Why Cassava does not appear on every best of SF/must do while visiting the city list, I do not know, but this place is a charming hidden gem. Definitely rivaling Outerlands across the park, the food is perfectly seasoned and the flavors dance in your mouth. I cannot say enough accolades for every menu item I have tasted.

Bonus, the service is as good as the food :] Everyone is friendly and looking to accomodate in whatever way they can.
